FDA Sought to Regulate Cigarette Makers

Anti-smoking adovcates have long sought to empower the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) to regulate the tobacco industry. Recently, the House voted 326 to 102 to approve the measure which would give the FDA broad authority over cigarette makers.
